Frohnleiten with a Skyline View

Nestled directly along the Mur river, Frohnleiten becomes a magical stage for two enchanting evenings of culinary delight. 2-toque chef Reinhard Rois from Landhaus Rois spoils guests with regional delicacies of the highest quality.


Beneath majestic trees and surrounded by over 1,000 plant species, the view over Frohnleiten’s skyline is simply breathtaking. Artistic light and sound installations, paired with atmospheric music, set the tone for an unforgettable evening – rounded off with a surprise finale.

This event is all about changing perspectives. On 7 and 8 September, we take you somewhere you normally need a boarding pass to access: Graz Airport..

Expect nothing less than culinary takeoff with creations by star chef Johann Lafer, who brings together flavour, creativity and the distinct vibe of the airport setting. With First-Class flair and gourmet highlights, this night will take your taste buds to new heights.

Over the Rooftops of Graz

The grand finale of the VOLLMUND 2025 series promises two unforgettable evenings with Christof Widakovich, chef of the iconic Restaurant Schlossberg. From sunset to moonrise, experience a culinary firework high above the rooftops of Graz.

Let the panoramic views, the glow of the full moon and exquisite flavours come together in perfect harmony – creating a magical atmosphere that touches all the senses.

June 2024

Schöckl – Graz’s Beloved Local Peak

The Schöckl is known as Graz’s local mountain. Standing at 1,445 meters, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Graz Basin and is already a popular excursion destination during the day. However, in the glow of a beautiful full moon night, this location becomes even more extraordinary.

The evening begins with a comfortable gondola ride to the summit, where finger food and an aperitif make the journey itself a delightful experience. A short walk, accompanied by live music, leads to the western summit, where guests will enjoy a five-course menu with a perfectly paired wine selection as the sun sets and the full moon rises.

With atmospheric music and exceptional cuisine, this evening promises to be a truly unforgettable experience.

Thalersee – A Picnic by the Lake

Just 7 km from Graz, you'll find the charming market town of Thal. Never heard of it? You probably know one of its most famous residents: Arnold Schwarzenegger. Near his birthplace, which is also the only official museum dedicated to him worldwide, lies the beautiful Thalersee.

Here, you can enjoy an extraordinary open-air dining experience. On a picturesque meadow by the lake, regional specialties and Styrian wines will delight your palate, while light and sound installations create an enchanting atmosphere. And as a special guest, the full moon makes an appearance—pure indulgence!

Sculpture Park Premstätten

The Austrian Sculpture Park, located south of Graz, has been a renowned center for contemporary sculpture since its founding in 2003. Designed by landscape architect Dieter Kienast, this fascinating park spans 7 hectares and is home to more than 80 sculptures.

Recognized as one of Europe’s top 10 sculpture parks, the Premstätten Sculpture Park can be visited free of charge from April to October during the day. Here, where art and nature merge, an ever-evolving dialogue unfolds, telling a story that changes over time.

This extraordinary location now sets the stage for a culinary experience for all senses, offering new perspectives and unforgettable flavors.

A Lost Place in Laßnitzhöhe

It doesn't get more extraordinary than this! A forgotten swimming pool, hidden deep in the forests of Laßnitzhöhe. This graffiti-covered ruin sets the scene for the final "Fullmoon" dinner of the season.

Normally off-limits, this exclusive location opens for one night only, transforming into a culinary hotspot like no other. With atmospheric live music and the sounds of nature—perhaps even the gentle chirping of birds—this evening promises to be truly unforgettable.

Cancellation & Ticket Exchange

  • Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another event.

  • If the event is canceled or stopped before the main course is served, a full refund of the ticket price will be issued.
