Spring

When nature awakens from its winter sleep in spring, the birds chirp and the sun shines ever brighter, most of the excursion destinations open again. At the Lipizzaner stud farm in Piber, the first foal is eagerly awaited and we are all eager to get out into the open air. It's high time to get your bike or e-bike back on the road, just like the motto says, "get cycling again". After all, there are 17 e-bike pleasure tours around Graz in all directions that need to be explored. Hiking boots are now also back in use for leisurely city walks, guided hikes, romantic alpine tours and impressive summit ascents. Summer

Summer is ideal for action of all kinds, entertaining summer theater, but also for relaxing, sunbathing and swimming in modern outdoor pools or romantic lakes. And how about a fine picnic? Special picnic spots are available as well as ordering options so you don't have to fill and bring your own picnic basket.

Autumn

In autumn, people in the Graz region think of the grape and fruit harvest, chestnuts and pumpkins, delicious snacks in rustic, beautifully situated Buschenschänken. Cycling and hiking tours through the colorful landscape in the particularly beautiful autumn light have their own charm. Autumn is also the time of harvest festivals and the Lipizzaner Almabtrieb - good reasons to celebrate.

Winter

Advent, Advent.... Glittering lights and romance, atmosphere and harmony - that's what the numerous Advent markets and events in the Graz Adventure Region have in common. Not to be missed are the Packer Bergadvent, the Advent events at Piber Castle or the contemplative Tannengraß & Lebzeltstern at the Austrian Open Air Museum in Stübing. Frohnleiten looks like something out of a picture book with its Christmas skyline, and nearby, at the Murhof golf course, dreams of lights come true at LUMAGICA. Advent in Graz scores with its giant ice crib, the numerous Christmas markets, the special lighting and the city hall as an Advent calendar. But in addition to contemplation and tranquility, fun and exercise are also the order of the day, e.g. ice skating, snowshoeing, tobogganing or skiing.
