Water sports in natural surroundings: That’s what the bathing lakes in the Murau region are known for. Rent a kayak or SUP, sunbathe on the jetty, play volleyball on the lakeshore … The region’s bathing hotspots offer much more than just an opportunity to go swimming.

Outdoor pools in the Murau region

Families with children can experience an exciting day of swimming in spacious public pools with slides and bathing islands. Outside of the water, volleyball courts and ping-pong tables ensure plenty of entertainment. Those who prefer a more quiet and manageable location might want to visit one of the small, beautiful outdoor pools. Of course, the water there is of excellent quality too.

As we know, the weather doesn’t boast summery temperatures every day – but that’s no problem! In the Murau region, the bathing fun can continue even on bad weather days.

At the indoor pool in Murau and the indoor pool of AUSZEIT Health Centre in St. Lambrecht, holidaymakers can swim all year round and in any weather. A visit to Wildbad Einöd Health Spa or Aqualux Therme in Fohnsdorf is a wonderful and relaxing experience as well.
