Andreas discovered his love of cabaret in his youth. Back then, at the end of the 90s, it was people like Alfred Dorfer and Josef Hader who inspired him. His first steps and first stage experiences were in the Europajugend youth theater. Andreas even went on tour in Germany with the play “Der Meisterboxer”, in which he played the leading role.
At some point, however, music became his hobby and in 2008 he made the step to becoming a professional musician. But thoughts of his own cabaret program kept coming up. It wasn't until Schlintl had finished his book “Auf dem Weg zu mir” (On the way to me) and was thinking about how and in what setting it should be presented that the decision to do cabaret was made. This was supported by his friend and best man Harald. The first cabaret program, which bears the same name as the book, tells stories from life and the “ME” that everyone carries within them. “As a child, we have big dreams and wishes, but most of the time these are thwarted by our environment and school, so that we hardly remember them as adults.” Andreas turns some of his own stories, such as a constipation as an apprentice plumber or the sensitive subject of vacuuming in a relationship, into vulnerable stories. When the laugh muscles need a break, he picks up the guitar and musically points out that we are becoming more and more of an act.
