The Kupferdachl is located in Premstätten near Graz and combines traditional tavern cuisine with modern gourmet cuisine. After a comprehensive renovation (August 2025), there are now two restaurants under one roof: the á la carte restaurant Kupferdachl and the fine dining offering “Das Edelsbrunner”.
In the á la carte restaurant, one can find regional and seasonal dishes, true tavern classics like the Wiener schnitzel made from veal are also present. The cooking here is of a high standard with a touch of down-to-earthness – simply delicious.
In the fine dining restaurant “Das Edelsbrunner”, fine dining is offered in a small, exclusive setting. Regional partners were commissioned for the redesign, the design emphasizes a modern, copper-inspired theme – including a bar made from the originally restored copper roof – as well as wall plaster techniques and art by Carola Deutsch. The ambiance is complemented by a large wine cabinet with over 300 selections.
The outdoor areas are part of the concept: the tavern offers a guest garden, while the Edelsbrunner additionally features a covered terrace with an upscale environment. Together, they create a place that celebrates heritage and craftsmanship, uniting different culinary experiences under one roof – with a personal touch and really good taste.
