The Knödelhütte is located right at the state border between Carinthia and Styria and is a wonderful starting point for beautiful hikes between these two federal states.

The Knödelhütte is situated at an altitude of 1407 m and is gently managed. The rustic cabin in idyllic alpine scenery invites you to enjoy. Traditional, homemade alpine snacks as well as sweet treats according to daily offerings are served here. The right drink must not be missing.

Specialties also include the daily changing soup selection and, in summer, mushroom dishes.

The Knödelhütte is an ideal starting point for the 5-Almhüttenwanderung which leads along the alpine huts in Hirschegg-Pack.
