Experience "Voices of Creation" along the participatory path during the Creation Time at the City Parish Church Graz.
“Voices of Creation” – A diverse participatory path of the Catholic Church in Graz during the Creation Time. From September 1 to October 5, 2025, the City Parish Church of Graz invites visitors daily from 12:00 to 18:00 hours to an interactive and inspiring journey of discovery. At four stations, visitors can reflect on their responsibility towards the Earth and its inhabitants, and take practical action.
The Creation Time begins on the “Day of Creation” (September 1) and ends on October 4, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. In this context, the voices of local birds will be heard in the church space, complemented by information on bird protection and a participatory table for children. Another highlight is the famous “Canticle of the Sun” by St. Francis, whose 800th anniversary is being celebrated. Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV. will speak and provide perspectives for a just and sustainable future.
At an interactive station, visitors can raise their own voice for creation and make their vision for a livable future visible. Admission is free and participation is open to all – a unique space to reflect on creation and actively engage in its preservation.
