From Thursday, September 18 to Sunday, October 12, 2025, the Graz Region transforms once again into a stage for the unexpected: The Styrian autumn '25 invites you to discover contemporary art in all its facets.
The opening of the Styrian autumn on September 18 at 5:00 PM at Freiheitsplatz features an audio walk (Registration - free entry) and at Helmut-List-Halle from 8:30 PM with a dance performance and subsequent party (Tickets required).
Since 1968, the festival has stood for bold, interdisciplinary projects that address and provoke societal questions. Whether performance, music, visual arts, literature, or new media – here the genres blend into a unique artistic experience.
The Styrian autumn '25 is traditionally accompanied by ORF musikprotokoll, which focuses on contemporary music, and the literature festival Out of Joint. A diverse partner program with local artists complements the offerings and makes Styria a meeting point for the art scene.
On September 19, the group exhibition of the Styrian autumn opens at BAU Graz (Prankergasse 29-31) with performances, a concert, and DJ set. There will be artistic interventions and performances by Max Höfler and Andreas Unterweger, Maria Vilkovisky and Ruthie Jenrbekova (Kreolex zentre), Nástio Mosquito and Ahmet Öğüt. Additionally, a concert by Austroflop will start at 7:15 PM followed by a DJ set by GreyNote. Admission is free!
