In the idyllic atmosphere of the parish garden on the Pack, the Pack theater group presents "Without Money No Romance" by Max Neal, adapted by Karl Christandl, this year. This rural comedy humorously and sharply focuses on the question: Does money really make you happy? When marriages fail due to dowries or are only formed for the sake of money, something is amiss.
A well-off farmer refuses to let money determine happiness. Together with a clever neighbor, he feigns financial ruin – a clever trick that surprises everyone in the end. The plot not only offers humorous scenes but also provokes thought about social values – love, trust, and genuine connection.
