Styrian Summer Art: Camera Acting
About the offer
This exciting practical workshop is for anyone looking to gain camera experience: from talented amateurs to theater actors and extras who want to train for a speaking role. The workshop is also interesting for trained actors who need a current demo scene.
The experienced TV director Rainer Hackstock (including 25 episodes of the ORF/ZDF hit series SOKO Kitzbühel) explains not only the work on a film set, but also several demo scenes will be prepared and filmed.
During an introduction to acting in front of the camera, many questions will be answered alongside practical exercises: When does it look real? What does the camera see? How should I speak? What do the eyes do? What is an axis jump?
Subsequently, scenes in pairs will be prepared, rehearsed, and filmed. Those who do not act as main characters will function in the background as extras and will also be assigned to team functions (sound assistant, props, continuity).
By the end of the course, each participant will have contributed to at least one clip. The raw material will be made available to the participants.
If desired, the editing can also be done professionally by Rainer Hackstock, complete with music, sound effects, and fine color adjustments. This will be charged separately with him.

Target Group: People with an acting background, but also for those who have always wanted to showcase their talent without much prior experience but never had the opportunity. Youth from age 13.
