Betty O, the South Styrian who brought the international cultural exchange award "Freiburger Leiter" to her homeland as the first Austrian, considers herself a versatile music poet and "mouth instrument songwriter."
With colorful wordplay and rhymes, the "humorist with musical roots" sings her way through the life processes at her mostly red piano and is not to be cabaret-ed.
Whether as the Terrible Infant of the vineyards or as a philosophically cunning observer of everyday female life, everything that flows over her liver bursts forth like grape juice from Betty O - equally with residual sugar and acidity.

So when Betty O pours literary pure wine, every drawer is too small, and the glass is always half full instead of half empty.

Culture in Passail
Founded in 2001, the aim of Culture in Passail has always been to bring a diverse cultural program to our beautiful Passail. Whether it's cabaret, rock or folk music, or performances from countries all around the world – the varied offerings provide entertainment for both young and old, and everyone in between.
The motivated team of "KiP" is always striving to bring well-known artists such as Wolfgang Ambros to Almenland. But even young, up-and-coming performers often celebrate one of their first appearances in Passail. For example, Paul Pizzera has already been a guest in the Passail cultural hall multiple times, years before he achieved his big breakthrough.
Local artists also have the opportunity to prove to the audience that culture does not always have to be sourced from afar – culture takes place right here in Passail.
