In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of steam distillation of herbs and you will be involved in the production of a hydrolat. You will talk about the versatile uses of plant waters and receive a script with further recipes.

In this 3-hour workshop, participants delve into the world of steam distillation and learn the theoretical basics as well as the practical process of producing hydrolats and essential oils. Under the expert guidance of Nicole Silbermann, they make their own hydrolat and essential oil, allowing them to actively experience the entire distillation process. The workshop also provides a broad knowledge of the diverse applications of these plant extracts, be it in cosmetics, aromatherapy or in the home.

Participants learn about the health and care benefits of hydrolats and essential oils and how they can use them specifically in everyday life. A detailed script with recipes also gives them the opportunity to implement what they have learned directly at home and make their own products. The personal support from the experienced course leader enables an intensive exchange and individual questions are answered to deepen the participants' understanding.
