Experience a dream journey through nature with the gentle Hohenkogl alpacas. With your own alpaca by your side, you hike through the Raabklamm gorge, where a secret picnic spot by the river awaits you. This slow trip is pure relaxation and enjoyment - including the refreshing cool water of the river!
Our animals invite you not only to explore the beautiful hilly landscape of Eastern Styria, but also to find yourself. During a guided dream journey with Heidi surrounded by our gentle alpacas you will find inner peace and forget the stresses of everyday life to be in the here and now.Completely relaxed we will set off for the Raabklamm gorge accompanied by the alpacas. Once there, at a secret spot directly on the banks of the Raab, you can open your picnic basket and enjoy the culinary treats. Meanwhile, our fury companions also get to have a little rest. The river Raab is ideal for taking a refreshing plunge into the cool water.Invigorated and fulfilled by this unique Slow Trips Experience, we will return to the farm, where you have the opportunity to buy gifts and souvenirs at the farm shop.Please plan a total of 3 - 3.5 hours for this experience.
Hardy folks can book the experience all year round, depending on available dates. As we have to prepare your picnic baskets, please make sure to book 48 hours in advance. Bookings from mid-June to mid-September are only possible from 5 pm onwards.

The hike back from the picnic spot is quite steep, but the route of about 1 km is not far and easily manageable even for children.

The hike leads along well-trodden paths and paved roads. Sturdy footwear is recommended. The picnic will take place at a secret spot right next to the Raabklamm gorge surrounded by nature. For more comfort, we recommend you bring along a blanket, towel
About the serviceprovider
The small family-run part-time farm is located on the Hohenkogl in Mitterdorf an der Raab. With much love and diligence, a meeting farm for humans and animals was made here. Come by and enjoy a few relaxing hours on the farm.
