Fladnitz an der TeichalmThe Latschenhütte is located at 1,200 meters above sea level right next to the Teichalmsee. The cozy hut invites all hikers, visitors to the Teichalm, children as well as summer and winter sports enthusiasts to enjoy a cozy meal, drink and party.
Above all, the ambience is very important here, a stylish, rustic bar, a large, open fireplace, many leisure activities and, above all, the Tuesday Lahü parties are very well known.
At the Latschenhütte, all hungry and thirsty visitors will find a place: the excellent cuisine offers everything from small snacks to extravagant lunch menus or gala evenings—everything your heart desires! A special highlight at the LAHÜ is grilling on the "OFYR".
Besides the excellent cuisine, one simply feels comfortable at the Latschenhütte; the rustic ambiance perfectly suits an outing to the alpine pasture.
The Latschenhütte is a Kulinarium Steiermark hut and stands for regional quality and identity.
Right next to the Latschenhütte is a large children's playground as well as the entrance to the moor learning trail. The hut is located directly by the Teichalmsee, making a walk around the lake, a pedal boat ride, or a small hike all very accessible. The Latschenhütte has ample parking for cars and buses. Bus menus as well as capacity for about 200 people are available at the Latschenhütte. Especially for children and the young-at-heart, there is a large playground outside, as well as children's meals, ice cream, and soft serve.
Numerous hikes start from Teichalm, right by the Latschenhütte. For example, the Heulantsch Round, the Hochlantsch Round, the hike to the Rote Wand, the path to Schüsserlbrunn, and many more!
The LAHÜ parties every Tuesday in summer are particularly popular, as well as the Almenland fair in September and the Christmas market at Teichalm during Advent. The Almenland cross-country ski trails (Sommeralm Trail & Hochmoor Trail) pass right by the inn. The Teichalm lifts are also nearby, and in summer you can quickly take a jump into the Almerlebnispark or the Energiepark. The Teichwirt **** hotel and Almwellness Hotel Pierer ****S are almost direct neighbors.
