On September 27, the Volkshaus Weiz transforms into a thunderstorm of sound of the highest order: At "Wall of Sound Vol.4", organized by the Young City of Weiz, four extraordinary bands come together – each with their own unique sound, united by their passion for intense, handmade music.
Remeant – founded in 2024 – was originally intended as a side project, but the trio consisting of Bernhard Ziegler (guitar), his brother Christian Ziegler (bass), and Lukas Nistelberger (drums) quickly found their synergy and developed it into a passion project. With a sound that oscillates between emotional depth and instrumental precision, Remeant stands for honest music with soul.
Burnswell ignites a musical fire from Vienna. The four musicians combine hard riffs with melancholic melodies, booming basses, and energetic drums. Their timely critical lyrics and explosive stage presence make every concert an intense experience. Burnswell is more than music – it is a cry, a feeling, a sea of flames.
Ultima Radio from Graz have been crossing genre boundaries since 2014. With influences from alternative, crossover, progressive, and post-rock, they have developed a unique style. Their albums – from A Thousand Shapes to Dusk City to Sleep Panic Repeat – showcase a steady evolution toward a darker, more powerful sound. With the new Basement Session EP and frontman Daniel Dorninger (formerly Witchrider), they are opening a new chapter – uncompromising, intense, and full of musical depth.
Wrong Generation – four young rebels from Weiz – bring fresh air to the punk scene. With a wild mix of punk, grunge, and rock, sharp social criticism, and stage energy that is hard to match, they demonstrate that punk is far from dead. Their music is raw, honest, and loud – just like their message: “We’re in the wrong, wrong, wrong generation.”
