The festive season is just around the corner and Gleisdorf is being transformed into an atmospheric world of adventure with the Advent market. From November 27th at 4 p.m., Gleisdorf's main square will be the setting for a magical Advent market for four weekends, which will put visitors in a festive mood with Advent huts, handicrafts, culinary delicacies and Christmas melodies.
The Advent season in the Solar City offers the perfect opportunity to experience contemplative moments with loved ones, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At the heart of the Advent market, the sparkling tent of lights shines, delighting both young and old with a diverse program (downloadable attachment: Program).
The lovingly designed stalls feature high-quality handicrafts and regional products, while the artists are happy to chat with you. Look forward to the variety of changing exhibitors at the Gleisdorf Advent Market.
Visitors are invited to stroll through the atmospherically lit shopping streets and then warm up with a hot drink at the Advent market. The tempting aroma of punch, homemade cookies, and sweet waffles fills the air. The culinary offerings are open daily until 9:00 p.m. The Kirchtavern mulled wine stand is also open daily until 9:00 p.m. during the week.
In this cozy atmosphere, the anticipation of Christ child can be wonderfully enjoyed – true to the town motto "The sun in your heart." Gleisdorf invites everyone to be enchanted by the festive spirit and experience contemplative moments together.

On Friday, November 27, the Gleisdorf Advent Market will ceremoniously open at 4:00 p.m. on the main square with the arrival of the children from the Sonnenstrahl kindergarten, followed by a musical opening performance by the Gleisdorf Music School in the tent of lights. Visitors can also look forward to Christmas stilt walkers providing entertainment. Starting at 6:00 p.m., we'll be creating a festive atmosphere with live music in the tent of lights.
On Saturday, November 28, the arts and crafts market will reopen, with many inviting activities on the agenda.
Sunday, November 29, heralds Folk Culture Sunday. Many folk singing groups and the Gleisdorf town band ensemble will provide musical accompaniment on Sundays in the lantern tent.
