Countless melodies from the nearly inexhaustible Avsenik treasure of songs have become evergreens of folk music. In 2009, seven musicians formed around Slavko's grandson Sašo to pursue their musical passion and continue the captivating music of their grandfather! "It is so beautiful to be a musician" - for "Saso Avsenik and his Oberkrainers, this is not just a song; it is rather the mindset of the 7 young musicians.
