Wildalmhütte
PusterwaldAfter a strenuous hike, enjoy a refreshing drink at the Wildalmhütte to quench your thirst and revitalize your senses.
The Wildalmhütte in Pusterwald is located in the Lower Tauern mountain range and is surrounded by numerous "two-thousanders." A paradise for mountain hikers but also for family outings, as the hut is only about 1 hour away from the associated parking lot. The no entry sign near the gold washing facility applies only in winter; in the summer months, access to the parking lot is permitted.
At the Wildalm, you can expect a mountain economy with dairy sales and snacks.
Drinks are always chilled in the fountain, and when the shepherd is done working with the sheep, the hikers are provided (drinks, snacks, cake).
Inquiries or reservations should only be made via WhatsApp calls, as there is often no mobile reception at the hut.
Opening hours:
- Beginning of June to the end of September
- If no one is present at the hut, cool drinks are available in the well. A piggy bank is also located there.
Health and security measures
- Distance rules are kept
