WeißkirchenThe pilgrimage church Maria Buch is an important place of pilgrimage in the upper Mur valley, construction began in 1455. The late Gothic hall church captivates with a magnificent spatial effect.
The pilgrimage church in Maria Buch is impressive. It is one of the oldest pilgrimage churches in Austria. The mighty high altar from 1651 is lined with golden vines. The late Gothic statue of Our Lady from 1480, is enthroned under a canopy in the middle of the altar.
