Less stamina, but all the more accuracy and technique are required to get as close as possible to the pigeon - a wooden cube - with the stick. The rules are easy to learn, and the host is happy to give a little instruction.
And if it is even frosty, the mulled wine is simply served outside and enjoyed directly at the curling rinks.
