LobmingtalThe herbalist in the Herbal Competence Centre of the Großlobming Technical College illustrates the effectiveness of herbs in a completely different way.
With our Herb Man at the School of Agriculture and Nutrition in Großlobming-St. Martin, we have created a unique herb experience for young and old throughout Austria. Following the motto "An herb for every occasion," we offer a comprehensive program based on the power of native herbs. Our goal is to inspire people about the natural resources of our homeland. Our Herb Man was born in 2016 (based on the idea by Eva Tragner), is over 40 meters long, and is planted with 230 different medicinal plants. The herb beds are arranged in the shape of a human body. There are eleven different beds, which correspond to various organs, body regions, and joints. Additionally, our alpacas can be viewed in the adjoining enclosure.
€ 5,- per person (please drop the money at the cash register at the entrance).
Guided tours can be booked by prior arrangement.
