Teufenbach-KatschThe central element of our region is definitely wood. Together with the Graz University of Technology, the company developed its own cross laminated timber technology in Katsch in 1996 and subsequently brought it to market maturity.
The technology has revolutionized multi-storey building construction in particular, as it greatly reduces the shrinkage of the wood. The large-format building elements made of cross-laminated timber are produced on site and in Bad St. Leonhard in neighboring Carinthia. To date, over 40,000 projects have been successfully realized worldwide in various construction categories, which represents a significant contribution to important environmental protection.
