Filmklub Kapfenberg

For over 60 years, we have been showcasing our own films and videos every Tuesday at 7 PM, as well as works by professionals like Pochlatko, Schauer, Manafi, Allahyari, Rekel, Schmelzer, Sauper, and many others. In the self-made club cinema in the primary school Redfeld on Steinerhofallee. These 46 club evenings held by both our own and guest authors each year are usually very well attended. We organize exciting and diverse themed evenings, when possible with large screen projection, at the city cinema in Kapfenberg and in the surrounding areas, such as at the cultural house in Bruck an der Mur, the cultural café in Aflenz, and in Oberaich, in the spirit of "Service to the Neighbor".

We aim to provide an artistic home for all creative individuals in our region and to offer all members comradely support through teamwork and know-how. Helping every filmmaking passion to break through has been, is, and will always be the highest goal of the work of all film enthusiasts in the Kapfenberg Film Club.
