Adventkonzert Da Blechhauf'n

The men's choir of former Vienna Boys' Choir, conducted by Michael Schneider, presents in this diverse concert Advent and Christmas songs from Styria as well as modern Christmas sounds in Barbershop style. Maria Suntinger demonstrates her versatility as a musician on the Styrian harmonica and the organ. In between, texts will be recited by the speaker Silvana Veit.

A Styrian touch will be heard with folk songs like "O Jubel, o Freud" or "Is finster draußt" as well as the touching "Glockenjodler." In contrast, spirited arrangements and lively classics such as "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" or "Look up, children" are on the program. This creates a bridge from quiet Advent to joyful Christmas. A concert full of warmth, timbre, and anticipation for the most beautiful time of the year – carried by the unmistakable voices of the Chorus Viennensis.
