Grazerhütte
TauplitzExperience nature on foot and take a deep breath. Nowhere is this better than at the Grazerhütte, a rustic and cozy cabin at 1,620 meters above sea level.
The Grazerhütte was built in 1928 and was run from 1933 to 1934 by the famous mountaineer and friend of the Dalai Lama Heinrich Harrer. It is located at an altitude of 1,632 meters directly on the popular 6-Lake Hiking Trail. The Gamsblick Climbing Route to Traweng starts not far from the hut.
For a refreshment, we offer typical hut food as well as freshly tapped beer, fine wines from Burgenland and Styria, and even a good schnapps. Available either in the cozy furnished hut or on the sun terrace with a panoramic view.
For inquiries about dining at the Grazerhütte on the Tauplitzalm, we are happy to assist you by phone or email.
