Cross-Country skiing Tauplitz/Tauplitzalm
TauplitzEnjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and the snow-sure cross-country ski trails at about 1600 meters above sea level on the high plateau of the Tauplitzalm.
The cross-country trails in the village of Tauplitz are located at about 900 meters above sea level.
The "Steirische Salzkammergutloipe" (Styrian Salzkammergut Trail) Bad Mitterndorf-Tauplitz/alm-Pichl/Kainisch is characterised by: wide, flat meadows; snow-protective forest edges; and slightly hilly terrain. It is snow-sure with plenty of entry and refreshment points. For the more athletic cross-country skiers there are also the challenging trails at high altitude on the Tauplitzalm.

T4 Sturzhahn Trail, easy, length five kilometers

The difference between the 2024/2025 Standard season ticket and the 2024/2025 Plus season ticket is that the Plus ticket also includes daily rides up and down the mountain on the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road bus and the Tauplitz Bergbahnen 4-seater chairlift. You can use these rides once a day. With the standard season ticket, however, these rides are not included.
Day tickets are also available at the ticket machines (ATM function)
